Source registry

Ranked by authority. A lower-ranked source never silently overwrites a higher-ranked one, and a news report never stands in for a filing once the filing is available.

What a machine can and cannot watch

45 of these sources are re-read automatically and compared against the last copy. 10 of those answer a plain request with a block page and are read through a real browser instead, which is how Justia, the Associated Press and Reuters are monitored at all.

The remaining 6 are checked by a person. The Missouri courts site is the notable one: it can be loaded, but it builds its case listings in the browser after the page arrives, so there is no page for a monitor to read. Each source below says which it is. That distinction is stated rather than hidden, because it is the difference between “nothing has changed” and “nobody has looked”.
